Conglutinativeruo was born from necessity in 2010, when founder Abena Mensah witnessed firsthand how financial illiteracy was affecting families in her Tamale community. After completing her studies in Finance at the University of Ghana and working for several years at a major bank, Abena returned to her hometown determined to make a difference.
She started with simple workshops in community centers and churches, teaching basic budgeting skills to anyone who would listen. Word quickly spread about her practical, no-nonsense approach to financial education that actually worked for everyday families.
What began as weekend workshops with just 12 participants has grown into Conglutinativeruo, Ghana's leading family-focused financial education organization. The name "Conglutinativeruo" combines elements meaning "binding together" and "pathway" in local dialects, representing our mission to unite families on the path to financial freedom.
Today, with a team of 15 dedicated educators and over 3,500 families served, we remain committed to our founding principle: financial knowledge is not just for the wealthy or educated eliteβit belongs to every family, regardless of their background or current circumstances.
